Pressure sensor not reading

Question

I have a 08 GMC Sierra slt. I just replaced the oil pressure sensor but it's not reading. It sits at zero till I clear code then it flips to 120 for about 5 seconds then flips back to 0. What should I be looking for. What could I have done wrong.

It's possible there is a mechanical issue. If you have low oil pressure this code will appear. I suggest actually testing the oil pressure. It is possible there is an electrical issue as well.
