engine misfire

Question

can bad coil pack cause a camshaft position sensor code to pop up? i changed camshaft sensor and still getting misfire and same code pops up

HI there

A misfire will not cause the code, however if the timing is off you will get this code and it usually results in a misfire. You may want to take a look at the mechanical timing and make sure the belt hasn't jumped a couple of teeth.
