Which diagnostic scan tools that i can used it to a 09 Niaasn Cube?

I have a 2009 Nissan Cube come with manual shifter. i don\\'t know what is wrong any time i want to get more speed it\\'s can\\'t go over 50 mils and i have to change gare faster if i don\\'t it\\'s will be ride like a house.so i going to buy a scan tool try to find out what is going on but the scanner dosen\\'t work to my car. Can you recommend which diagnostic scan tool wrold work for my car or what kind of scan tool i can use. Thank you!
