Which scan tools read the B-codes.

I would like to purchase a scan tool so I can use to isolate the door ajar switches and their status. I am not a professional mechanic, so I would like to keep the cost below $500

The scan tool that reads body control , should be listed on their item description, Most scan tool on the market would read ABS, and  Powertrain codes,  If you want to go below 500 dollars the Launch would be the best buy, There the snap on nick name the Brick would cause less than 500 dollars the reason it is no longer supported.
