2008 Chrysler Aspen Limited 5.7L Hemi I get a code P1404. Where do I find the bad valve?

The code number you got is wrong. It should have only 4 number. e.g. P1234

P1404 this is the EGR valve, which is EGR position sensor rationality. The EGR is located on the front near the alternator. Replacing the EGR valve may not be the fix for this, Do a top engine clean or what is called a decarbonize.
