Question

I have a high idle and also a fluctuating idle between 1200-2000 rpm. I have put in a new throttle body and gone thru the relearn procedure at least 20x. Feeling frustrated, please help.

Look for some other reason for this idle to be searching and to be to high. Usually it's a vacuum leak on the system and sometimes the mass air flow sensor. Try unplugging the maf sensor and see if the car will start and idle, without searching for idle. If it does, it's possible the mass air flow sensor is causing the issue. The code means the idle speed is to high, but it doesn't mean the throttle body is the problem.

Hi there, I have done a smoke test and fixed the vacuum leaks where the smoke was coming from and I also have replaced the MAF sensor with a new one.
