Camshaft position sensor intake or exhaust?

I'm trying figure out how to tell if I need a new intake or exhaust camshaft position sensor on a 2004 325i bmw. How can you tell which one to it is?

The code you get for the cam sensor will actually point to the intake or exhaust cam sensor. If you have the code you should post it here so we can provide you with more info.
