Code p1401

Question

My Lexus Ls400 model 1996
RPM goes up and down nonstop ,
I make OBD issued p1401 .
Some technican pointed to throttle body
others to TPS or mas air sensor !!
Make me confused,,
What is the right one .
Any suggestions PLS.

HI there

This code points to an issue with the sub TPS on the car. This is a secondary tps on the throttle body. It could also be the wiring harness to the TPS, but the code itself is pointing to a problem with the tps and nothing else.
