Engine light is on, car jumps/jarks when put to drive & riverse, what do i do now?

This sounds like a misfire. This is usually a problem with one of the ignition coils. What you need to do is have the codes read and determine which coil has the problem and replace it. This will usually solve the problem. Also, if you haven't changed the spark plugs it could be due.
