Would improper ignition timing cause code p1163?

Question

Replaced primary oxygen sensor once. Received code for bad catalyst. Replaced catalyst now receiving p1163.

The timing won't typically cause this code to come up. It is basically completely related to what is being seen by the sensor in the exhaust stream. That being said, both the front and rear O2 sensors do play a roll in the fuel mixture. It is possible even though it's not completely known that the rear O2 sensor could be causing the engine to add or subtract fuel to the mixture. This can affect the front sensor.
