my ford expedition xlt1999 reads po174 too lean bank 2 eva how can i get it to pass state inp. what can i do

There are several possible causes for this code. The most common issue would be an intake manifold gasket leak, a bad front O2 sensor on bank 2 or possibly the mass air flow sensor. The condition would have to be repaired so the check engine light goes out, then you would be able to get through state inspection.
