Had Chrysler replace fuel tank according to service bulletin for x-53 fuel tank warranty but vehicle still has PO700 and UO100 codes with engine stalling condition. Chrysler replaced TCM, PCM, reprogramed computer, replaced fuel tank with revised tank, but car still has same issue. Now they want to replace the throttle body and all the coils. Car only has $46,000 miles on it! They want thousands upon thousands of dollars and never fixed the issue! Does anybody out there know what will solve this problem?

P0700 Transmission fault detected

U0100 Loss communication with ECM / TCM

You have to disregard these two code, There are Chrysler with a P0700 and a U0100 , the direction for that is start with the U0100, from there you check to make sure there is no overcharging from the alternator. and that the gear selector is reporting the correct gear. If it is then you go a scan the Body control system which will only tell you that there is a "P" code the P0700 and that only verifys the gear selector as not reporting on time to the ECM its gear position. where the gear selector is suspected. But your is unique, The engine stalls you can expect a P0700. and maybe a TPS (throttle position) sensor code. P0700 and U0100 these code together will not cause the engine to stall. U0100 these are seen all the time as broke plastic gear selector . And people drive thousands of miles withpout ever saying the engine stalled. I can see why the Dealer says throttle body, if the idle speed cannot be maintained when coming to a stop, and staling if that the case, as for coils, you would have misfire condition. 46,000 you don't even need sparkplugs.

These are always seen on Chrysler where the fuel pump strainer falls apart the engine will run and drive but just about stall when trying to accelerate to coming to stop or just cruising the highway. Try this , get a bottle of fuel injector cleaner LUCAS brand, and one bottle. The reason I say this is a vehicle was stalling out , in the hot desert, cant tow 200 miles from the city, cant repair it there to hot plus it nothing but sand and rock and misery.since the ground was 120 degrees the fuel strainer was suspected, it would stall wait awhile start right back up and starve for fuel, Added on bottle of fuel injector cleaner the stalling subsided.  Since made it back home they do not want to repair the vehicle . and they ben driving it from state to state with no staling.

Thanks for your reply Renaldo. I have tried the bottle of fuel injector cleaner but still have intermittent stalling and same codes. I came across another service bulletin that states the transmission has a connector plug that has 2 O rings that leak tranny fluid onto the 13 pin plug that controls the transmission. I checked the fluid and it was low. I added fluid but still the same problem. Gotta check the plug for tranny leak. Do you think this can be the cause?
