could B1610 be caused by loose wire?

Question

The passenger side airbag inflator switch was replaced (as a recall) shortly before this light started coming on. It is not on all the time, will be off for weeks at a time and then on for weeks at a time. Toyota wants to replace the sensor (for over $400) based on the code. I wonder if they left a wire loose during the recall.

B1610 Front air bag sensor RH circuit malfunction

No a loose wire not going to cause this code, the most probable is the center airbag sensor assembly, because this is under a Recall. it still under a Recall, it still defective regardless. Here some of the reason robots build the car , so you can imagine there is a pattern trait , by the time it is found out one million vehicle just left and it now on the road that why they have a Recall do to so many problem at one time.
