Will the car operate ok but just have a hard start?

Got a P0496 code...will the car operate safely without repair?

HI there,

The car will run fine with this code and most of the time actually. We usually see the hard starting after filling the car with gas, but might also show up on hot days. The purge solenoid isn't the only cause for this code. Here is some more info:
