Code p1818 is coming up , is this an easy fix? Or does this mean I may new a whole new trans. I have had 5 did. Mechanics look and test drive my car and I'm not getting any answers.

P1818 Transmission fluid pressure (TFP) valve position indicates drive without drive raitio

Not necessarily you need a transmission you have bad signal , from the TFPmanual valve position this is usually a sediment build up. a transmission service may not be able to remove the sediment build up , you may have to replace the TFP valve then you can service the transmission fluid
