will p0141malfunction cause a car in motion to stop abruptly while driving

please help. i am using nissan tiida 2008 model. just of recent any rime i am driving and i get caught up in traffic, any slight attempt to accelerate or turtle d car it suddenly turn off.i.e d car go dead and i have to restart it and this process often continue any time i find my self in any traffic. on diagnosis it shows 02 sensor (pending). my question is ...... can 02 sensor cause power to cut off while driving?

HI there,

This code is for the rear O2 sensor heater circuit. This will not cause the car to lose power or stall. I would check the mass air flow sensor. This is a more common issue and normally won't cause the check engine light to come on even when it fails. Low power and stalling is a common symptom for the sensor.
