2000 Nissan Maxima will bad oxy sensor#2 & bad speed sensor cause all dials (spedo/rpm/etc) to go blank?

Oxygen sensor #2 & speed sensor codes show bad. All dash dials blank & stay blank (except briefly in very cold weather). BUT, car runs fine ! Would those sensors make the dials go blank or is this a failure on the main CPU.??

Not sure what the problem is, could be a bad combination meter (gauges), but the O2 sensor or speed sensor will not cause that problem.
