Question

I replaced the purge valve that was called out and the same code was set again. Im trading this vehicle on Monday and don't want to put any money into it. Is there a way to bypass or turn off something so the check engine light wont  come on?

P0447 Evap canister vent control valve

This code is for a open circuit or shorted circuit of the VENT control valve, the purge is at the engine , if the purge valve was replaced nothing is resolved, The vent valve is at the charcoal canister, at least you can remove the vent control clear anything that may be trap and clear the CK ENG LT
