After replacing part for code P0496, still getting the code after clearing it, what next?

Received check engine light and pulled code P0496 - evaporative emission system high purge flow. Replaced Purge Valve and erased codes (I could blow through it after removing, bad). Check engine light went out but code still comes back. What else could that code (P0496) be?
