My cousin has a 2010 Honda Civic and this code is going to be the death of me. I am handy with cars and like to think of myself as a mechanic, however this car has me questioning my capabilities. I have changed....

*02 sensors
* Spark plugs
*MAF
*Throttle Body (seprate issue)
*Smoke tested for Vaccums leaks( smoke test showed no leaks except from EGR which is normal replaced gasket anyways)
*Positive Fuel Trims both short and long
*injectors are pulsing at 2.5 ms
* Gas cap (reads off on my scanner assuming thats normal)
*Listened to injector pulse (sounds normal)
*Checked Air intake Manifold gasket (with starter fluid**Rpms never raised**)
* tried to see fuel pressure but didnt have the correct adapter.
*catalytic converter is running on right temps.
* 02 sensors are both jumping from 0.1-0.8 the second 02 sensor i know is supposed to stay normal however I believe the code is throwing it off.

Problem with car shutting off while accelerating... I assume is has a clogged fuel filter or a faulty fuel pump.... Cant know for sure because I cant read the pressure. Looked for pressure on my scanner it wasnt showing a option. Fuel system reading is reading closed. I need help I am ready to slam this car into a wall.

Both the fuel trim is positive is a lean condition, On the spark plugs if you do not use the required type that should be listed on the under hood sticker no only will the car have no power but you would set a lean fuel trim. Here is a sample the Honda has a 1.8 gas engine and a 1.8 CNG.  A Honda with a1.8 engine CNG  customer put sparkplug for a 1.8 gas engine the engine idle great but under acceleration the engine bucked on acceleration, the fuel trim at idle read correctly , a valve adjustment was even performed. the result stayed until a ignition analyzer was used what was found was a short burn time the sparkplug was incorrect the fix install the correct sparkplugs. Check the sparkplug use the correct application. Your also correct in suspecting the fuel pump the strainer tends to plug up you can use brake cleaner or carburetor cleaner to clean out the strainer, By the way throw out the starter fluid I seen many car fire with starter fluid as a tool
