HI MY 2002 FORD F150 4.6 POPPED A PLUG ON CYLINDER 3. I DID HAVE THE HEAD FIXED AND NEW PLUG AND COIL PUT IN. I HAVE CHANGE THE COIL TO AN EXTRA ONE I HAD BUT IT IS STILL PULLING A P0353 CODE. DO YOU THINK WHEN THE PLUG POPPED IT MESSED UP THE HARNESS FOR THE COIL ALSO???

P0353 Ignition coil 3  Primary /  Secondary circuit malfunction

You would need to test the ignition signal this would be a ground signal from the ECM, You only have 2 wire one is battery voltage or ignition voltage the other wire is a ground signal from the ECM if there is no ground pulse you could be looking into a ECM that is causing the P0353. That because it is a COP (coil on plug) you can remove the coil have the wire lead attatched use a spare good sparkplug make sure the sparkplug is grounded start the engine it should have spark. if none and the wire is okay you may just have to get rebuild the ECM of get another ECM.
