Hello, I came across this site hope I can get some advise. My son has a 2002 4x4 Frontier XE 4 door 3.3 v6. to get started , we  had to change the valve pan gaskets so I sprayed the motor off  last weekend because it was pretty dirty where he has been coon hunting. Well now the check engine light has been on, never had a light on before i sprayed it off it never came on when I started it to help dry the motor. He drove it later that day and when he turned it off and started it back the light came on. I read the codes and the were 7 on it. cleared them figuring I just got the connections wet. stays off till you turn the engine off then start it back up. The codes are they same every time- PO132 O2 sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1, PO152 O2 sensor Bank 2 Sensor 1, PO328 Knock Sensor 1 Bank 1 these say Circuit High Voltage confirmed. Then it has the same codes codes saying Pending, But this morning I got a new code with them and it is P1163 No DTC found and its Pending. I have took and cleaned the the plugs on the wiring harness going to the O2 sensors with contact cleaner and a small brush, blew them out with a air hose and sprayed WD-40 in them and blew it out figuring they might have water in them, still get the same thing after you go some where turn the motor off then start it back, nothing while your driving it. Any help at all would be appreciated Thanks

P0132 - 02 sensor circuit high (sensor open or shorted) Bank 1 Sensor 1

P0152 - 02 sensor circuit high (sensor open or shorted ) Bank 2 Sensor 1

P0328 Knock sensor input signal

P1163 Heated oxygen sensor 1 lean shift monitoring Bank 2

The code that are set mostly point to just one 02 sensor , when a P0132 is set, it tends to set a P0152 with it, P1163 is a good sign your getting good progress. The job of the ECM is to look for open circuit , grounded circuit , shorted circuit and rationality, P1163 or a P1167 if these are seen on vehicle they usually represent the resistance of the 02 sensor as being different characteristic in other word wrong application type, P1163 if you clear this code you reset the monitor and the a drive cycle has to be performed the ECM will try to pass it, (no manufactuer wants the CK ENG LT To come on right away so it pends and during the drive cycle the ECM will try to compensate for it if it too out range it set a code) Cleaning the connection out is a good thing but what may have been overlook is the joint connector )

Here a jopint connector this joint connector is also for Bank 2 sensor 1 you may want to clean this out. , for now leave it alone move to P1163

Do this for P1163 loosen and retighten the ground. and set the monitor to complete.

As for the knock sensor (what Nissan does not set a knock sensor ) because of a lean code that you have leave that code alone until the 02 sensor have cleared, It also would be a good idea to perform a MAF (mass airflow cleaning)
