P0340 Camshaft position sensor circuit , when you set this code it mean the ECM does not see a camshaft position sensor signal, You need to make sure the connection are making proper connection. If you  just have  P0340  and NO other code for cam to ckp correlation? The you need to reprogram the ECM. This is a software update., Think of this a software for your own computer, Even if you at one time downloaded a program , then one day the program goes, You download again. Same for you vehicle. Dodge has a TSB for this code situation .
