My 2003 audi A4 quattro has a misfire. it brought out a check engine light and i took it to autozone to scan it with the OBDII scanner and the scanner says multiple random misfire Po300 and cylinder 4 misfire code PO304. what are the possible causes and whats is the solution to this type of problem with audi cars?

Hi there

Since you have a single cylinder misfire code, start by repairing that. Sometimes the computer is picking up a misfire and doesn't know which cylinder it is and will set the P0300.

Possible causes for the misfire on cylinder 4 would be the ignition coil, spark plug, fuel injector or an intake manifold gasket leak. Most common would be the coil itself.
