P0305 Misfire number 5 cylinder
When you have a misfire condition , your going get raw fuel in the intake chamber. this is why misfire code are categorized as Type "A" code, Type "A" codes are catalytic damaging codes. If you have a stuck open fuel injector you would definetly have raw fuel mixed into the engine oil. and black smoke out the tail pipe. a stuck closed fuel injector would cause a misfire condition. but because you smell raw gas in the intake and this vehicle uses a cap and rotor for the ignition.a mechanical problem with cylinder number 5 has to be ruled out. a compression test has to be done your minimum would be 145lb. if your below 90lb it mechanical
