This vehicle is a 1997 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton 4 whl dr. There are several codes coming up. They are as follows; P0740,P0753,P0758,P0785, and P1860. The first one is the TCC-Torque converter clutch. The others are sift solenoids except the P1860 which is the tcc pwm solenoid circuit electrical/transmission transfer case contact plate D short circuit to B. How do I know which one is bad and where are they?

Vehicle: 1997 GMC Sierra 4 wd with a 5.7 L engine and auto trans.

All the solenoids are inside the transmission. Do you have any drive ability problems? if you do you should contact a transmission specialist or you could try changing the transmission fluid first. Low or dirty transmission fluid could cause the solenoids to stick.
