Hello,
I am new to this forum. I would like to thank all of its active members who provide valuable help.
I have a C2020 w204. Model 2012. 57000Km on the counter. My problem is this: the check light is on my dashboard three days ago. The passing through the suitcase diag of a friend (amateur) m displayed error code P0705.
I restart the car 3 times successively. The s indicator is off. But after 300 km and at redemmar, the light reappeared. I tried rebooting 3 times. The light always remains on.
I searched a little in forums. But I did not find a similar case, especially as the car did not lose power. The speeds change without any problems or noise. In E and S mode. Sequential also.
Please. Has anyone ever had this problem? Is there a risk if I drive with this time to go home and visit MBenz? What is it exactly? Is this a resetting of the box little problem? Is it time to drain BVA?
Thanks for your feedback ??

P0705 Transmission range sensor

This code is common on MBZ regardless of the model. especially w204. and to 221 models. Any coffee or drinks spill down there ? This is going to be intermittent , because it is setting more often you need to resolve this. or it not going to start, Make this code condition a hobby in having.

Thank you very much for your answer. It is true that it is intermittent, I understand that this problem is not serious and that I can ride with the car quietly. To set it definitely, I have to change a comp

You do not have to replace the computure just the transmission range sensor, you can drive with this but there are times when the engine does not start and you would have to play with the gear selector. give yourself a peace or mind replace the sensor, , just as your shoes wear out so does this sensor, this code is seen on so many MBZ everyone ask why did this code occur, it is simple the parts are built by robots so it inherits a common problem , and a common trait. get a new sensor it better in the long run , All parts in your car or any car  , depreciate over time
