the check engine light is on. the code B2796 comes up
no communication with the immobilizer.
What does that mean????

B2796 No communication with the immobilizer system

The first is check your key for the transponder chip. or use another key. If the transponder is in there the key coil area are usually the most common cause for this code, what happens is the wire attaching to the key transponder amplifier breaks off.
