4 cyl 2006 ranger runs great then stalls , restarts a few mins later?

My 2006 Ranger 4cyl usually starts right up and then either runs great all day or
1. stalls minutes later and hard starts a few minues later.
2. Runs great for hours and hours, then stalls to a hard start minutes later.
3. Hard start first thing in the morn, then runs great all day.
4. runs and starts normally throughout the day, then a hard start, then runs fine .
Sometimes starts and runs w/o a problem for many days , then see 1-4
All this and no codes set.

When the vehicle does not start take a look at the anti theft light , when you start the vehicle note does the antitheft light turn off. Another is when you first turn the ignition switch off note and listen there you would be able to hear clicking noise for the fuse/relay box area. this would be a good indication that the engine would start, when it does not start, listen to the fuse/ relay box area. if you do not hear anything click and turning on , replace the PCM relay should be listed as Main relay.
