I got the code and failed emissions. '14 Chevy Sonic

Question

System too lean message at emissions testing. Can't renew tags until fixed.  Appointment next week to repair.  Ok to drive 6 more days with the light on and this issue??  How costly is this gonna be??  Still under warranty but bumper to bumper has expired.

Hi there

The lean code can be caused by several different things.

Vacuum leaks, low fuel pressure,faulty front O2 sensor and sometimes the mass air flow sensor. Without actually knowing what's causing the code, it's difficult to estimate the cost for you.
