I have a CEL and code P0088 comes up.

Question

While towing a heavy load, my 2004.5 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel stumbled under hard acceleration. The CEL came on and is still lit. It seems to run fine now and I did change the fuel filter. I am getting a loud vibration noise between the passenger side battery and the coolant overflow container. I believe this is for the windshield wash? It makes a loud noise as soon as the key is turned on and stays that way while running.

If the truck is running fine now, as the P0088 was set , the fix is replace the fuel control actuator,
