How the harmonic balancer, the harmonic balancer is vulcanized, it can shift out of position that should be looked into as you set the top dead center.  Being 1.5 in range, check the harmonic balancer bolt, if it is not properly torque down  what can happen is there is timing gear that can shift the timing chain out of position.  You can inspect that gear by removing the harmonic balancer and check that timing gear ,  if that gear has shift out of position , it does not set any codes, just low power at acceleration.
