What is the location of the crankshaft sensor on my 2003 Subaru Forester AWD? How do I change it?

Hi there

The crank sensor is mounted to the top of the engine under the alternator. If you remove the alternator you will have access to it. It's only one electrical connection and one 10 mm bolt holding it in place. This requires no programming or anything to do, so it's a simple plug and play application. You might be able to access it without removing the alternator.
