Can I still drive the vehicle with a P4063 fault code

Question

This is a 2006 Ford Five Hundred. Just filled the fuel tank when the fault occurred. Unable to get siphon hose into fuel tank to drain fuel so need to use up fuel to replace sensor and pump assembly.

P0463 Fuel level sensor "A

Overfilled fuel tank is one cause for this code, just drive and use up some of the fuel and reset the code. You do not necessarily have to replace the sensor.
