does the code p0705 aply to manual transmission too?

I have a nissan pick up 97 manual transmission an the check engine light came on so and the only code that seem to a pear is P0705, so i wonder if manual transmission has the same sensor?

P0705 for a manual transmission is the neutral position switch that is located on the clutch pedal.At one time manual transmission vehicles did not have neutral position inhibitor switches , what changed it was a high number of people getting ran over by standing in front of a vehicle while the vehicle was started. , even worse when driver would reach in the window to start the engine not knowing that the vehicle was in gear . and away the car went. You set a P0705 when you bypass the neutral safety switch.or it pop out in place.
