P0449 sets when there is incorrect voltage, Whenever a CK ENG LT set and the sensor involved is a solenoid, , it is important to resolve the condition as soon as possible what happens solenoid are controlled by a internal switch this is the driver in the ECM. Faulty solenoids can short out its internal driver, where the ECM would have to be repaired or replaced. For now the first step is to , check the  vent solenoid which  fused protected, in the engine fuse box listed as ENG 1 , check the fuse , and you would also be good to check that it has battery voltage. This code condition occurs when the ECM commands the vent on by sending a ground signal, You can use a bi directional scan tool and command the vent control on and off, that a good way to confirm you have a good connection., but when you try to set the monitor and the code P0449 set within the first ignition cycle , The job of the ECM is to look for open circuit , short circuit, grounds , rationality, The ECM is at fault.
