I have p2423 code on a2006 Toyota Camry and I don't know what to do.

What do I check first? I replaced the air filter already. What else do I check next. In what order do I check things and replace things. Please help. Thanks. I have a little automotive experience but take directions well and am a quick study.

When this code set, you have a front 02 sensor , this is the engine management sensor, this is for fuel control, there rear 02 sensor the one in back of the catalytic convertor is the down stream 02 sensor  this monitor that catalytic convertor. when you set a P2423 this means the down stream 02 sensor has activity , there is no around this, your fix is replace the catalytic convertor. You can use a scan tool and on Bank 1 Sensor 2  a good a good catalytic convertor the  Sensor 2, the  02 sensor you be above .650 mlvts. and not cycle. going from 450 mlvlts is the midpoint.
