Code P2135 Came up at the Service Traction Control same time just wondering if this could be the same Problem

Yes, many times the check engine light coming on will also disable the traction control and sometimes even the cruise control. I would repair the 2135 code and then take it from there. Chances are the traction control issue will be resolved as well.
