will p0719 mess up my transmission

Question

I realized that my cruise control wasn't working and then I got a check engine light. Code is p0719, code states that TCC solenoid will be inhibited, it does seem as if I have been burning gas.

P0719 Brake switch circuit low

No this type of code is what is considered a B type code. you will not have the advantage of fuel economy that was designed for fuel economy . This was the whole purpose of the CK ENG LT purpose beside the clean air regulation
