2009 Kia Sorrento code P1734. What does it mean

Our Kia Sorrento has a code P1734 and garage mechanic not sure what to do.  Any ideas?  We have not been able to engage the 4WD low

This code means the speed sensor reference signal is low. The speed sensor is the most common cause for this code. Here's some more info on it
