p2068 check engine light code

Question

fuel level reading not correct. Is this likely the sensor or are there other options of repair? (2011 ford explorer limited)

P2068 Fuel level sensor B circuit high

This is with the fuel level sensor, circuit high mean it see a open circuit,  go to the fuel pump  look for any charred wires or better wiggle test the connection ,
