I changed the upstream 02 sensor and fail code came back

Hi there
Sensor 1 is an A/F sensor, usually you will see voltage as high as 3.14 volts. It's designed to try and accomplish this to get the best possible fuel mixture. Depending on the code, you may have a heater circuit code. If the computer sees to much voltage coming back from the heater, then it will throw a code for it.
