This code is for the vehicle speed sensor, this is what sends the signal to the speedometer so it will read. With this code it cold be a problem with the abs, the speed sensor or the speedometer. All items have to be tested to find out. This could affect the steering if it uses the speed to adjust the sensitivity on the steering wheel.
