service 4wheel drive po101 on chevy tahoe,is it velectric problem

on 06 tahoe service 4wheel drive light is on and obd reader is PO101 and the 4 wheeldrive won\'t engage, is it a electrical problem? or a fuse and what is it that I need to service.
