speedometer not working and no communication with tcm. checked ohm resistance of speedometer output speed sensor to tcm @ 2 ohms. pulled sensor to check resistance across pins @ 1589 ohms

Resistane check is great, but this code requires that you measure its reference voltage, Key on Engine Off the yellow / red wire , is the reference voltage, from there you check for any open circuit to a short circuits and its ground
