p0157 code along with the VSC warning light & message on a Lexus IS250

Both the p0157 code (check engine light) and the VSC warning light and message came on together while driving. On for 3 days while driving and both went off together. Code still present in computer. No changes with gas mileage. No smoke.

Hi there,

This code is for the bank 2 O2 sensor #2. This is the sensor after the converter on the front bank of the engine. It is possible whatever caused the code is resolved as this type of code is sometimes the result of fuel additives or some small misfire in the engine. It will not usually affect fuel mileage or the way the engine runs. Should it re appear then the sensor should be replaced.
