P0605 Control Module Fault

What the ECM does is look for open circuit short circuits ground and it does a self check on itself, The fix is replace the ECM, but before you get into this, Try this clean out the battery terminals especially the negative terminals Charging system should be checked , when the alternator is charging it creates a magnetic flux a proper ground a good battery ensure that the flux is grounded improper ground can cause a lot of drivability, clear the code , ensure battery proper connection and retest.
