I have a 2012 Dodge Avenger SE 2.4L engine and have replaced the coolant, both thermostats, and coolant temp sensor. I still get P0118 Code, what could be causing this or what else should I do or what should I check next?

Check the water pump function, these water pump have a plastic propeller which in some case breaks apart, , when the engine is approaching a higher temperature, check the function of the heater , a failed heater output with a engine that is at a overheating condition is a indication of a failed water pump. It no use in using the radiator hose to diagnose but you can touch and feel the heater hose if too hot to touch the water pump need to be suspected
