why is there low pressure or power from my car

Recently worked on my a/t. Car appears not to easily change to gears again until I release my legs from the accelerator pedal irrespective of the rpm. Cannot climb bump even if I slide the gear to gear one.

Right at the right front strut tower there is a dropping resistor, check to see if  the dropping resistor is plugged in.
