Im confused code po836 but i dont have a 4x4

Question

2012 Dodge Caravan
Front Wheel drive only
3.6l v6
Stalls at stops occasionally  other wise runs smoothly
No engine light
I do have code po836
Should I ignore this code

When you connect a scan tool to the DLC port to gather a code, the scan tool becomes a host module. When they make a connection the ECM will send the trouble code and match it with your scantool, your scan tool will match it to its library codes. If you can update your scan tool or use another scan tool, Transmission gear code can put the throttle control into a limp mode. or reduced power mode
